Render I made for Pwnisher's 'Moving Meditations' challenge
We were provided a set of mocap animations to choose from, a spot where the character goes, and a camera move. Everything else was up to the artists to come up with.
Rendered in Unreal Engine 5, all running in real-time with Lumen/Nanite. Scene was put together using a custom Metahuman and a boatload of Quixel assets.
It was my first time working with cleaning up mocap data and retargeting to a Metahuman rig, as well as my first time doing character clothing simulation. Rammed my head into the wall a few times, but learned a lot and pretty happy with the end results!
Cloth simulations were done in Marvelous, and the mountains were AI generated via DALL-E 2
